Morley Lions News
Morley Lions are bringing vintage performer Kitty LaMare and The Ashby 'Little' Big Band to Morley Town Hall to help raise funds for our District Ukraine Appeal.
Our events calendar takes us back to Morley Town Hall in June for our 1940's Night in aid of The LCIF Ukraine Appeal.
We are excited to share that we have booked the services of local vintage performer Kitty LaMare and The Ashby 'Little' Big Band to entertain our guests on Saturday 25th June as we aim to raise as much money as possible for the Lions District Ukraine Appeal.
The Appeal, which has so far raised over £80,000 will assist those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. The Morley Lions club has already contributed, from our charity funds, to the substantial amount raised and this event will help raise even more money which will be distributed to Lions clubs in Ukraine and neighbouring countries who are providing shelter for those displaced.
Tickets are available now and include entrance and a Pie and Peas Supper. There will also be a prize raffle and also a prize for the best 40's dressed!
President of Morley & District Lions Club, Roy Field, said "The party nights at Morley Town Hall are always popular and great fun.
"Every penny raised by Morley and District Lions club will be used to support the people of Ukraine in their time of need"
